Los Tres Cubanos offers classic dishes to give everyone “ A taste of Cuba”, in central Pennsylvania. We’ve rounded up some of our favorite and most irresistible family Cuban recipes. There’s nothing like homemade Cuban cooking, because it reminds Los Tres Cubanos of Sunday and Holiday dinners with our family, family traditions and stories of Cuba.
- Ropa Vieja, means “old clothes,” is a Cuban dish consisting of shredded beef brisket braised in garlic, bell peppers, olives, parsley and Spanish wine served with white rice.
- Lechon Asado slow roasted pork shoulder marinated in Los Tres Cubanos’s signature mojo served with your choice of Moros y Cristianos or white rice and black beans.
Los Tres Cubanos, made up of three Cuban-Americans who love their pork. We all have memories of spending hours waiting for a lechon, a whole pig, to finish cooking in someone’s backyard or basement, and then sharing it with family and friends during special occasions. What sets Cuban-style pork apart is the use of mojo, a highly seasoned marinade made up of tangy citrus bitter orange juice, large amounts of garlic, cumin, and oregano.
